Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate market views and trade ideas
• Analyze congestion, basis and nodal pricing dynamics
• Monitor weather, load, generation and transmission developments
• Support futures, options and physical power trading activities
• Build analytical tools and market intelligence to support trading decisions

Skills

• 2-8 years of experience within ERCOT power markets
• Understanding of power market fundamentals, congestion and transmission
• Experience within trading, market analysis, forecasting, research or commercial analytics
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Python, SQL or power market modeling experience is advantageous
