The Senior Accountant role involves maintaining financial transactions and preparing financial statements, requiring a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
• Prepares journal entries, and any related analysis, including variance analysis of budget vs. actual results for assigned areas, providing explanations of the causes of any material variances
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Assist in preparation of various regulatory reporting requirements including audit, tax, cost reporting and surveys

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business/related
• 2-5 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• 5-10 years of experience
• CPA
