This role involves identifying and solving technical challenges, building reusable components, and improving engineering efficiency while collaborating closely with leadership to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve scalable software solutions
• Translate product concepts into technical deliverables that provide frequent, incremental customer value
• Build reusable components, frameworks, and tooling to support cross-team scalability and consistency
• Lead and participate in technical design sessions, architecture discussions, and implementation planning
• Influence engineering best practices through code reviews and mentorship
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver solutions to complex needs
• Ensure all solutions align with future-state architecture and technical strategy
• Own the quality and technical deliverables for your team, ensuring production readiness
• Drive improvements in development lifecycle practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability

Skills

• 3 – 8 years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience using C# (.NET Core) and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong experience designing and delivering production-grade backend systems and APIs
• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including build/release automation and quality gates
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes or Azure Container Services)
• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems (Service Bus), and background processing
• Proficiency working with SQL Server and relational databases
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework, Dapper, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals including testing, code reviews, DevOps, telemetry, and monitoring
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Application Insights and querying tools like KQL
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-native systems and REST API
• Experience with Databricks or modern data platforms
• Exposure to polyglot data architectures (relational, key-value, graph, columnar)
• Experience working with serverless architectures
• Healthcare or enterprise-scale system experience
