They are seeking an experienced freelance consultant to support green businesses in the circular economy sector, contributing to organizational strengthening and business development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct organizational, business, and operational assessments
• Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in governance, processes, and sustainability
• Design and implement organizational development measures
• Perform benchmarking analysis (national & international best practices)
• Adapt and transfer best practices to the local island context
• Support the development of sustainable and scalable business models
• Develop implementation roadmaps, including KPIs, priorities, and actions
• Prepare reports, documentation, and stakeholder presentations
• Detailed work and implementation plan
• Organizational and operational diagnostics report
• Benchmarking study on circular economy best practices
• Implementation and action plan (short- and long-term)
• Regular progress reports
• Final report including recommendations, lessons learned, and sustainability roadmap

Skills

• University degree in economics, business administration, engineering, environmental sciences, social sciences, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in organizational development
• Experience working with SMEs or community-based enterprises
• Proven expertise in: Organizational diagnostics and gap analysis
• Proven expertise in: Business model development
• Proven expertise in: Benchmarking and strategic planning
• Strong understanding of circular economy concepts and waste valorization
• Fluency in Spanish
