Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Andrews & Cole, LLC is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close
• Manage preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Support audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements
• Evaluate existing accounting systems, controls, and procedures; recommend and implement improvements
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance and support decision-making
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, banks, and other partners
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years managing accounting functions
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• CPA or MBA strongly preferred
