They are seeking a Data Scientist to drive product innovation for new content verticals, focusing on measurement strategies that enhance member experiences through experimentation and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive product innovation focused on our new content verticals and help shape the member experience through robust measurement strategies covering experimentation, modeling, and analytics
• Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to realize our vision of entertaining the world as content and culture continue to evolve
• Develop experimentation and measurement frameworks to increase and influence complex decision-making
• Facilitate ownership and accountability by ensuring the team produces trustworthy, high-quality outputs that inform decisions and shape the direction of member experience
• Adapt quickly to changing circumstances. The new content experiences team evolves rapidly, and this role will help shape its future

Skills

• Experience with supporting experimentation at scale and observational causal inference to drive product development
• Strong statistical intuition and applied experience solving problems in consumer-facing products. Experience analyzing recommender systems is a plus
• Expertise in SQL and statistical programming (Python and/or R)
• Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent at managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Comfort with ambiguity; ability to thrive with minimal oversight and process
• A passion for product development and design
• A results-oriented mindset: you focus on what moves the needle and work on what the business needs
