Confidential Company is a global alternative asset manager seeking a Valuations Analyst/Associate to join their growing team. The role involves valuing illiquid securities, monitoring portfolio performance, and collaborating with various internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Onboard newly originated investments alongside underwriting teams
• Perform monthly valuations of illiquid securities; present findings to the valuation committee
• Build and maintain financial models tracking issuer performance
• Analyze financial statements, transaction structures, and market data
• Contribute to quarterly portfolio review materials for portfolio managers
• Interface with internal teams and external parties (auditors, valuation providers)

Skills

• 1–3 years in financial consulting, investment banking, asset management, public accounting, third-party valuation, or credit rating
• Solid grounding in debt instruments and credit analysis
• Experience with debt/equity valuation and 3-statement modeling
• Strong Excel skills; Capital IQ or FactSet a plus
• Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
