Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, tech-savvy Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our growing telehealth team. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based nutrition counseling to individuals managing chronic conditions through virtual care. The ideal candidate is passionate about personalized nutrition, comfortable working in a digital health environment, and excited to collaborate with innovative tools—including AI-supported care models—to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized medical nutrition therapy via telehealth for clients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders, weight management)
• Develop and monitor personalized nutrition care plans aligned with clinical guidelines and patient goals
• Interpret client data from wearable devices, health platforms, and dietary tracking tools
• Collaborate with Plus Wellbeing’s AI platform to enhance meal planning and recommendations
• Deliver ongoing coaching, education, and behavior-change support to drive sustainable outcomes
• Document all client interactions in compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards
• Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and wellness partners
• Stay current with evidence-based nutrition practices and emerging digital health technologies

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Active Illinois state licensure (or ability to obtain licensure IL)
• Licensure in additional states preferred (or ability to obtain licensure in additional states)
• Minimum [2+] years of clinical or counseling experience (telehealth experience a plus)
• Experience with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, cardiometabolic health, GI conditions)
• Strong communication and motivational interviewing skills
• Comfort with technology, telehealth platforms, and digital health tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using remote patient monitoring
• Familiarity with insurance-based nutrition care and reimbursement models
• Interest in AI-driven healthcare solutions and personalized nutrition
