Talon America is a company focused on unlocking the potential of out of home advertising. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support their accounting and finance team by processing, reconciling, and analyzing financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly reconciliations of all bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare monthly accrual journal entries for unreceived overhead invoices and expenses
• Set up and maintain prepaid expense schedules for subscriptions and other recurring prepayments
• Review, analyze, process, and coordinate payment of employee expense reimbursements
• Compare overhead expenses to forecasted and reforecasted budgets and identify variances
• Ensure timely payment of all overhead-related vendor invoices and business transactions
• Reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable ledger balances for overhead accounts
• Respond accurately and promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice and payment status
• Assist with month-end close processes and related journal entries
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and records
• Collaborate with team members across Talon and affiliated entities on accounting and finance-related requests
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
