The Technical Designer will contribute to the Design Department by managing design processes and collaborating with various teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily queue assignments, capacity, and prioritization
• Conduct and document QA reviews and provide actionable feedback
• Create or update training materials and SOPs for their function
• Partner with PM, Production, and Operations on escalations
• Maintain team performance metrics and communicate outcomes to Director
• Assist with onboarding new designers and developing skill progression

Skills

• Proven leadership/managerial skills
• Experience managing people
• Associate degree or two years of experience in design or a similar role
• Proficiency utilizing Adobe Creative Suite with a high concentration in Illustrator
• Highly organized and able to work under daily goals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency utilizing email and internet
• Knowledge of CadTools Illustrator Plugin
• Experience working with scaled artwork for production
• Four-year degree from an accredited university
• ADA signage (not required but a plus)
