They are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to facilitate internal client groups' sourcing and purchasing needs, working closely with departmental stakeholders to implement a strategic sourcing program that drives value and cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing process for the assigned internal client groups (a client group example would be the Operations Organization comprised of direct materials, contract manufacturing, and engineering)
• Deploy sourcing tools including supplier search, analysis, supplier management, contract management, RFX development, and execution utilizing the Scanmarket software
• Partner and develop relationships with internal clients to define and prioritize business requirements
• Research industries and suppliers to ensure the most viable suppliers are identified and considered
• Manage the RFX process by composing RFX documents in Scanmarket, reviewing documents with stakeholders, and submitting documents to suppliers
• Negotiate supplier contracts for optimal pricing, services, quality and value
• Demonstrate value of the Sourcing Department to the organization by defining, measuring and reporting relevant metrics
• Manage multiple projects at once, delivering on anticipated timelines and cost-savings
• Perform advanced supplier searches utilizing AI

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 7+ years of corporate purchasing experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• CPM, CPSM or similar professional certification desired
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Prior experience serving in a Project Management capacity
• Ability to summarize supplier quotes into concise SOW's
• Experience managing through influence
• Strong relationship building skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Pharmaceutical experience is preferred, but not required
