Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Software Development Engineer 1 to support scientific and data-science-focused customers through software development. The role involves working with cutting-edge AI technologies and requires coordination with customers as part of a product team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support onboard customers as part of a product team
• Write and own the code base for customer-facing repositories
• Author repeatable agents and publish community assets to establish best practices

Skills

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience with GitHub
• Understanding and familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and machine learning concepts
• 1 to 2 years of experience using software engineering practices in scientific applications and exposure to simulations, computational science, or related domains
• Knowledge in scientific computing, version control, and agentic AI for science
• Experience with troubleshooting and making system changes as needed
• Prior work experience in the relevant industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
