Confidential is a growing healthcare technology company building a new onshore engineering team, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the next generation of platform development. This role focuses on designing scalable SaaS applications and leveraging AI tools to enhance software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Build and enhance multi-tenant SaaS platform capabilities
• Develop APIs, backend services, and cloud-native solutions
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on new platform initiatives
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity and code quality
• Contribute to architecture, technical design, and best practices across the engineering organization

Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience
• Experience building and supporting SaaS applications
• Experience working within multi-tenant environments
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Interest in and practical use of AI-assisted development tools
• React or TypeScript experience
• Healthcare technology experience
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare interoperability
• Experience with Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI coding tools
