This role focuses on building security controls and automating security processes in cloud environments, specifically within AWS.

Responsibilities

• Building AWS security controls with CDK and CloudFormation
• Automating and tuning WAF deployments through IaC
• Writing Python and JavaScript tooling
• Embedding security guardrails directly into CI/CD pipelines
• Partnering with engineering teams to build secure-by-default platforms

Skills

• Strong Python and JavaScript development
• AWS CDK and CloudFormation in production environments
• WAF automation and engineering (not just console administration)
• Deep Linux/infrastructure background
• AWS networking, IAM, and cloud architecture
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK from an engineering perspective
