The role involves supporting the design of large-scale power generation systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and solving non-standard engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of large-scale islanded power generation systems
• Work on complex generation assets, rotating equipment and mechanical power plant systems
• Contribute to engineering solutions for rapid load-change and mission-critical power requirements
• Review and develop design concepts for non-standard power generation applications
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Apply mechanical design engineering judgement to review technically challenging project work
• Support problem-solving across combined cycle, simple cycle and related generation environments

Skills

• Around 7+ years' mechanical engineering experience
• Experience with power generation, rotating equipment or generation assets
• Design engineering experience is essential
• Combined cycle power generation or simple cycle power generation experience is highly desirable
• Islanded power systems experience is highly desirable
