The Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in IAM, developing and implementing policies and solutions for managing user identities and permissions in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a subject matter expert within the team, and will provide coaching, guidance and support to colleagues to enhance team performance and development
• Develop and implement IAM policies, roles, and access controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Architect scalable and secure IAM solutions to manage user identities and permissions
• Integrate IAM solutions with on-premises and cloud-based applications
• Mange user identities, entitlements and access permissions across multiple cloud and on-premise platforms
• Monitor IAM systems for security incidents, performance issues, and compliance violations
• Conduct audits and reviews of IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Automate IAM processes using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation or ARM templates
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other IAM solutions to enhance security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions into new and existing projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on IAM-related issues and best practices
• Stay updated with the latest IAM trends, technologies and security threats to proactively address potential risk

Skills

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus in IAM
• Proven experience with IAM solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies such as AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM, Okta, etc
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer
