The role involves designing and building next-generation AI-powered cloud applications, focusing on cloud-native development, AI platform engineering, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs powering AI-driven applications
• Develop scalable services using Python, FastAPI, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Integrate LLMs, retrieval systems, and enterprise data sources into cloud applications
• Implement secure architectures including authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Build and manage intelligent workflows and agent-based systems
• Develop retrieval, memory, and context services using modern cloud data stores
• Contribute to semantic data layers enabling AI-powered analytics and natural-language interfaces
• Create reusable patterns and frameworks for deploying AI applications
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code for cloud applications
• Monitor performance, reliability, and cost using observability tools
• Implement security controls, automated testing, and validation checks
• Support scalable deployment models using containers and serverless technologies
• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, product teams, and architects
• Participate in Agile delivery cycles and iterative development processes
• Mentor team members through design reviews and technical guidance
• Communicate technical trade-offs related to performance, cost, scalability, and security

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, backend development, or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS, Lambda, Fargate, IAM)
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Node.js, or similar frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, etc.)
• Experience building AI/ML solutions such as LLM, RAG, or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with modern data systems, APIs, and cloud architectures
• Experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar)
• Exposure to vector databases, knowledge graphs, and semantic data models
• Experience with observability tools and production monitoring
• Familiarity with enterprise or regulated environments
