They are seeking a Certified Guidewire ClaimCenter QA Tester to support a remote contract-to-hire opportunity, focusing on ensuring quality standards throughout the testing process and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support a 6-month CONTRACT-TO-HIRE opportunity working 100% REMOTE
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the testing process
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for QA testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
• Support automation efforts and help enhance testing frameworks
• Coordinate testing activities with development teams and business partners
• Ensure all testing activities adhere to organizational standards and best practices
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks

Skills

• Guidewire ClaimCenter certification is required
• XML Experience
• SQL - Ability to write potentially complex queries
• At least 3 years of relevant QA testing experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• API - Postman preferred but Soap is fine
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred but not required
• Knowledge of testing automation tools is a plus
