Whirlwind Steel is a premier metal building manufacturer specializing in the design, fabrication, and delivery of top-quality metal structures. We’re seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of pre-engineered metal building projects, from initial contract to fabrication completion.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project budgets
• Corroborate with other departments to ensure project schedules are maintained
• Maintain effective communication with architects and customer representatives
• Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage change orders as necessary

Skills

• Prior experience in the PEMB industry is required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Must have the ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred but not required
• Experience with Metal Building Software (MBS) is preferred but not required
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
