The Lead AI ML Engineer will lead the design and delivery of scalable voice and chat solutions using Amazon Connect, ensuring platform reliability and optimizing contact flows.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Amazon Connect contact flows (IVR & chat)
• Build Lambda-based integrations for backend APIs
• Integrate with Lex bots and external systems
• Optimize routing, queues, and call handling
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and performance
• Lead production support, RCA, and continuous improvements

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with APIs, event-driven design, and IVR systems
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js
• 2+ years of experience with AWS: Amazon Web Services, Amazon Connect, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway
• 2+ years of experience with conversational: Amazon Lex
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, TN, F-1/OPT, CPT, or other employment-based visa status)
• TypeScript preferred
