The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and various e-learning technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop engaging online courses and learning materials using sound pedagogical principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Collaborate with faculty and SMEs to define learning objectives, outline course content, and select appropriate instructional strategies. Create multimedia content, including videos, interactive simulations, quizzes, and assessments. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle to build and manage online courses. Ensure all online courses are accessible and adhere to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). Evaluate the effectiveness of online courses through student feedback and learning analytics, and make necessary revisions. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in online education and instructional design. Manage multiple course development projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards. Provide training and support to faculty on online teaching best practices and the use of instructional technologies. Contribute to the development of institutional standards and best practices for online learning. Facilitate virtual workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on higher education online learning. Proven ability to design and develop high-quality, interactive online courses. Proficiency with various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software. Strong understanding of adult learning theories and pedagogical best practices for online environments. Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
