Cohen Veterans Network is a not-for-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for veterans and their families. They are seeking a motivated HR Intern to support the HR team with various administrative and operational tasks, including maintaining records and assisting with HR audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HR Audits
• Maintain and update HR records and trackers
• Assist with organizing employee files and documentation
• Support handbook and policy document management
• Help standardize file naming and recordkeeping processes
• Help compile HR reports and background check records
• Support office organization and administrative projects
• Other projects, as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or any business-related field
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
• You are willing to be a part of a small, dynamic, and innovative team while contributing your voice to all aspects of the CVN and its growth
• Some Travel Required
• Proven experience working in an office environment is a plus
• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous
