[Remote] Chief of Staff, Multi-Brand Operations

Makesy is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff for Multi-Brand Operations to support entrepreneurial founders across various businesses. The role involves managing product development, project management, digital marketing, and overall execution, ensuring alignment between founder vision and business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the founders to organize priorities, projects, communication, and day-to-day execution
  • Help translate founder vision into clear plans, timelines, priorities, and next steps
  • Support the execution of business initiatives across product development, ecommerce, digital marketing, brand launches, operations, vendor management, legal, finance, and special projects
  • Create structure around business priorities, personal logistics, family-related coordination, and founder lifestyle management
  • Manage timelines, follow-ups, calendars, meetings, tasks, and deliverables across multiple areas
  • Help turn ideas, conversations, and decisions into clear action plans
  • Serve as a key communication bridge between the founders, internal team members, external partners, vendors, advisors, agencies, and family support
  • Track open items and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Support product development and go-to-market efforts by helping organize timelines, samples, vendor communication, launch tasks, approvals, marketing deliverables, and cross-functional follow-up
  • Support digital marketing and ecommerce projects by helping coordinate campaigns, creative needs, email/SMS timelines, website updates, launch calendars, agency communication, and reporting follow-up
  • Coordinate travel, appointments, events, household or family-related logistics, lifestyle needs, and special requests as needed
  • Prepare summaries, agendas, project trackers, updates, emails, and follow-up communication
  • Use AI, automation, and modern productivity tools to improve organization, communication, planning, research, follow-through, and overall efficiency
  • Help build simple systems and processes that create clarity without adding unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Know when to move quickly, when to slow things down, and when to escalate
  • Protect the founders’ time, energy, focus, and priorities
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in executive support, chief of staff, operations, project management, founder support, brand management, ecommerce, product development, family office, or a similar high-trust role
  • Strong understanding of how businesses operate, including product development, marketing, ecommerce, operations, team communication, vendor management, and project execution
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly proficient with AI, automation, and productivity tools, including tools such as Claude, His Perplexity, Notion, Asana, Hubspot or similar platforms
  • Ability to work with both professional and personal matters while maintaining discretion and emotional intelligence
  • Experience supporting founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, family offices, or high-net-worth households is strongly preferred
  • Experience helping bring products, brands, campaigns, or business initiatives to market is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, ecommerce, email/SMS marketing, paid media, website updates, creative timelines, launch calendars, and agency coordination is a plus
  • Experience in beauty, wellness, ecommerce, consumer products, hospitality, creative businesses, or startups is a plus
