They are seeking experienced attorneys to provide strategic legal guidance to early-stage healthcare and technology startups, assisting both the fund and portfolio companies in navigating growth and risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad legal perspective on company formation, governance, venture financings, founder matters, IP strategy, commercial contracts, partnerships, employment considerations, and scaling challenges
• Offer insight during investment evaluation regarding legal structure, risk factors, defensibility, and scalability of early-stage companies
• Serve as a sounding board to founders on legal and structural decisions that impact long-term enterprise value
• Advise on best practices for corporate governance, risk management, compliance frameworks, and building durable businesses
• Share perspective on trends in startup law, venture financing structures, and emerging legal issues affecting healthcare and technology companies
• Advise companies incubated by our venture studio from formation through early growth stages

Skills

• Attorney with meaningful experience advising startups, venture-backed companies, or growth-stage businesses
• Comfortable thinking beyond pure legal analysis and providing practical, business-oriented advice
• Strong judgment and ability to mentor founders at critical decision points
• Experience with venture financings, M&A, startup structuring, equity compensation, or emerging companies preferred
• Interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and early-stage investing
• Advise companies incubated by our venture studio from formation through early growth stages
