The role involves representing lenders and servicers in commercial mortgage-backed securities and real estate finance matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising on performing and non-performing CMBS loans
• Handling loan modifications, assumptions, and equity transfers
• Reviewing and negotiating consent requests
• Drafting demand letters and assisting with pre-default matters
• Supporting ongoing commercial real estate lending and servicing transactions

Skills

• Must reside and be licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, California, Florida, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington, Washington D.C., Delaware
• Bachelor's degree required: Yes
• 5+ years of commercial real estate finance or financing transaction experience
• Ability to manage matters independently in a fast-paced environment
• Active bar license in state of North Carolina
• CMBS, lender-side finance, loan servicing, or workout experience strongly preferred
