They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full cycle of the billing process, ensuring compliance with federal billing requirements and supporting the financial integrity of the company.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate invoices for prime contracts and subcontracts, including CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract types
• Lead the submission of invoices through government portals such as WAWF and IPP, ensuring compliance with FAR and DFARS
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes by ensuring revenue recognition follows GAAP standards
• Work with the engineering and program management teams to validate labor hours and project expenses
• Maintain detailed records to support DCAA/DCMA audits and the annual Incurred Cost Submission (ICS)
• Assist in managing subcontractor funding increments and ensuring financial compliance across the lifecycle of the contract

Skills

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, specifically within the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry
• Proficiency in MS Business Central or equivalent GovCon ERP system
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation
• Foundational knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
