• Role: Paralegal with PII Compliance Experience (Remote)

$40 - $70/hour Role Overview: As a Paralegal / Legal Assistant (PII Compliance) for one of our clients, a global leader in the Financial Services industry, you will play a critical role in safeguarding confidential corporate and financial documents, ensuring strict compliance with evolving data privacy regulations. Your expertise in handling personally identifiable information (PII) will be crucial in analyzing high-stakes documentation and minimizing re-identification risks. This is a contractor position working remotely. Key Responsibilities:

• Review, redact, and generalize sensitive documents to ensure PII compliance, balancing data utility with privacy obligations.
• Support M&A documentation by preparing and managing CIMS, SPAs, and other critical deal documentation.
• Implement and maintain rigorous compliance protocols and reconciliation processes for complex data sets.
• Analyze and mitigate PII risks associated with sensitive documents and financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• PII (personally identifiable information) and data privacy regulations compliance expertise.
• Strong understanding of M&A documentation, including CIMS and SPAs.
• Experience with document redaction and anonymization techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
