• Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)

• Rate: USD 60-80/hour
• Location: Remote – candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction.

Role Overview We are seeking experienced Paralegals and Legal Assistants to support a long-term research initiative for one of our clients, a leading organization in the artificial intelligence sector. This role involves applying professional legal support and research experience to design, review, and refine occupation-specific research questions and analytical materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate research questions related to paralegal and legal assistant work
• Apply professional judgment based on prior legal support experience
• Produce clear, accurate, and well-structured written outputs
• Collaborate remotely and meet agreed delivery timelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of full-time professional experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, or in a closely related legal support role
• Ability to commit at least 15 hours per week
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer compatible with required software (Chromebook operating systems are not supported due to technical limitations)
• Strong legal research, documentation, and writing skills
• Legally authorized to work as an independent contractor without employer sponsorship
• Engagement as an independent contractor
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
• Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered
• Project duration may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on business needs and performance
• Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
