They are looking to add an Underwriting Specialist to their team, focused on nonprofit, human services, and education risks. What you'll be doing

• Managing and growing a book of commercial lines business (new business + renewals)
• Evaluating risk, pricing coverage, and making underwriting decisions
• Handling endorsements, negotiations, and coverage structuring
• Building and maintaining strong agency / broker relationships
• Partnering internally with underwriting support and cross-functional teams
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment and sharing technical knowledge

What they're looking for

• ~5+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience
• Experience handling complex or specialty accounts (not purely small business)
• Exposure to both new business production and renewals
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with brokers

Preferred:

• Background in nonprofit, human services, or education risks
• Or underwriting experience in adjacent areas such as:
• public entity / municipalities
• management liability
• habitational or complex casualty
