Role Overview: Intake Coordinator (Remote) The Intake Coordinator serves as the vital first point of contact for our private therapy practice. This role is dedicated to creating a welcoming, seamless, and compassionate entry experience for new clients. The ideal candidate balances strong administrative efficiency with a warm, empathetic communication style. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Onboarding & Triaging: Respond promptly to initial inquiries via phone, email, or website forms. Conduct brief, empathetic screening calls to understand the client's needs and determine the appropriate clinical match within the practice.
• Scheduling & Care Coordination: Schedule initial intake appointments and coordinate calendar availability between clients and therapists.
• Administrative Support: Maintain an organized waitlist and follow up with prospective clients to ensure a high-touch, supportive onboarding experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Field Experience: A background in mental health education (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work) or prior experience working within a mental health/wellness setting.
• Communication: Exceptional active listening, empathy, and written communication skills to support clients who may be reaching out for help during vulnerable times.
• Confidentiality: High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, and strict adherence to client confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Tech-Savviness: Strong organizational skills and comfort learning digital tools (e.g., EHR platforms, secure email, and scheduling software).

Position Details:

• Location: 100% Virtual / Remote (Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet).
• Hours: 4–10 hours per week (Offers excellent flexibility, with the expectation of timely responses to new inquiries).
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour
