Healthcare Administrator

Remote · India Full-time

About The Role The role oversees day-to-day administrative operations, regulatory compliance, and process optimization within a tech-enabled healthcare delivery model. This position acts as the bridge between clinical workflows, state/federal regulations, and technical engineering teams to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency. The administrator will design, implement, and monitor operational frameworks that comply with HIPAA, state licensing, and CMS regulations, while leveraging modern digital health platforms to automate legacy workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily healthcare operations including patient scheduling workflows, billing cycles, and provider credentialing verification processes
  • Monitor and audit compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines across all digital and physical operational touchpoints
  • Coordinate with clinical leads and product teams to translate healthcare regulatory requirements into actionable product features within the proprietary EHR
  • Analyze operational KPIs such as provider utilization, claim denial rates, and patient intake velocity to identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks
  • Supervise the medical billing and coding team to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding, maximizing clean claim rates
  • Facilitate external audits and licensing renewals across multiple state jurisdictions to support geographic expansion

What We Are Looking For

  • 4–7 years of experience in healthcare administration, clinical operations, or healthcare program management
  • Deep working knowledge of US healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, and state-level licensing laws
  • Proficiency with modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical billing clearinghouses
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects involving clinical staff, operations, and technical teams
  • Bonus: Master of Health Administration (MHA) or MBA, or experience working in a high-growth telemedicine or digital health startup
