Data Administrator NCCHS
Midlands Net Zero Hub is looking for an organised and detail-focused Data Administrator to join their Sustainable Energy Team within Housing Services at Nottingham City Council. The role involves managing and maintaining asset data, producing reports, and ensuring data accuracy to support decision-making and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain asset data across multiple systems, inputting and validating information from a range of sources, resolving data issues and helping to continuously improve processes
- Produce reports and insights to support decision-making
- Respond to a high volume of enquiries from customers, colleagues and contractors
- Help coordinate appointments and documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements
- Contribute to delivering excellent customer experience, promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and achieving value for money
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks, financial processes and meeting coordination
Skills
- Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical communication skills
- A high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
- Effective communication skills with a clear customer-focused approach
- Demonstrable ability to analyse data and identify trends to support decision-making
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, show initiative, and contribute positively as part of a team
