What You Get to Do: The Client Analyst is a client-facing role working with our Sequoia Team Members, as well as Finance and HR professionals at some of the most exciting and disruptive technology companies in the world. You will partner with our consulting teams to provide actionable data and strategic insights to shape the future of these companies’ benefit programs. You need to be a well-organized, solutions-driven individual who thrives in keeping up with the demands of our largest and fastest growing clients. What kind of person thrives in this role? Put together financial analyses including underwriting, renewal review, employee contribution modeling, market analysis and benchmarking Prepare and speak to reporting packages and insights on demographic data and trends, including post-implementation changes Provide insight on network differentials and disruption Assist with the preparation of financial modeling and forecasting using actuarial tools Design reports such as: claims reporting, client benchmarking, benefit cost analysis, enrollment overviews, plan comparisons and merger and acquisition analysis Deliver accurate and reliable claim reporting and financial modeling used to drive client decisions Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes or create new ones Develop client and carrier relationships Review and maintain client data within Salesforce Communicate and liaise effectively with client team members and clients regarding strategic project execution What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree required 5 + years of experience working in benefits consulting or healthcare fields Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and responsiveness in a deadline-driven environment Ability to interface cross-departmentally and with clients and partners Advanced use of Microsoft Excel Experience with Salesforce is a plus Experience related to group health insurance and/or employee benefits programs is a plus English Proficiency Most importantly, live our Sequoia values day in and day out Sequoia’s Culture – Our most important asset Integrity Passion for service Innovative Growth oriented Caring for others Promise-centric Focused on relationship building Sequoia provides equal opportunity to all applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, citizenship, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, marital status, military or veteran status, disability, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.
