Mizuho is a leading provider of corporate and investment banking services, and they are seeking a Windows Analyst to support Windows Server and Microsoft cloud services in a regulated financial environment. The role involves maintaining system availability, security controls, and improving operational processes through automation and AI-assisted tooling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Windows servers and workstations
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and supporting applications
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repeatable tasks
• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, intelligent monitoring platforms) for log analysis, troubleshooting, and operational insights
• Support the deployment of system updates, patches, and security fixes in accordance with change and maintenance windows
• Analyze and respond to system alerts and user-reported issues to minimize downtime and restore services
• Document system configurations, changes, and issue resolution details in accordance with company standards
• Participate in the evaluation and testing of new Windows-based technologies and tools
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users and internal IT teams, as needed

Skills

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Willingness to learn and apply AI-assisted tools and complete ongoing professional development
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 10/11
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and core Windows networking services
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
