About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement engaging window and in-store displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes. Create compelling visual merchandising plans that highlight new arrivals, promotions, and key product categories. Ensure all displays are maintained to a high standard, keeping them fresh, clean, and on-brand. Collaborate with store management to plan store layouts, product placement, and fixture utilization to maximize sales and traffic flow. Maintain inventory of visual merchandising supplies and props. Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices. Monitor retail trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising strategies. Contribute to brand storytelling through effective visual communication. Prepare reports on display effectiveness and suggest improvements. Work on visual merchandising concepts and plans, potentially remotely, before implementation in-store.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or apparel. Strong portfolio showcasing creative display designs and visual merchandising skills. Excellent understanding of color theory, layout, and design principles. Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into impactful visual presentations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, as needed for installations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. A passion for fashion and an eye for current retail trends.
