Video/Motion Designer (REMOTE)

The Video / Motion Designer brings ideas to life through eye‑catching motion and video that quite literally make the brand move. This role blends creative storytelling with scalable, reusable systems—enabling teams to produce high-quality content quickly and consistently. Working closely with cross-functional creative partners, this role ensures outputs are visually compelling, technically sound, and aligned to brand standards. What you'll do here: Create engaging video and motion design assets for brand, marketing, and internal communications Design and animate motion graphics for digital, social, web, presentations, and internal channels Develop and maintain templated motion and video systems to enable fast, consistent reuse across teams Edit video content, including pacing, color correction, audio refinement, and basic compositing Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines, visual identity, and quality standards Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, creative leads, and program managers Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Prepare and deliver assets in multiple formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining quality and timelines Maintain well-organized files and adhere to established workflows and processes Stay current on motion design trends, tools, and industry best practices Skills you will need here: Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, or related field Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling Ability to translate creative concepts into compelling motion and video experiences Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Cengage is committed to working with broad talent pools to attract and hire strong and most qualified individuals. Compensation

At Cengage Group, we take great pride in our commitment to providing a comprehensive and rewarding Total Rewards package designed to support and empower our employees. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range. $58,300.00 - $75,750.00 USD
