The Video Editor will transform raw footage into engaging short-form videos optimized for social platforms, including cutting clips, arranging sequences, and adding transitions. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying color grading, integrating motion graphics and text overlays, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role involves collaborating with content creators and internal teams to understand creative direction, adapt edits based on feedback, and deliver content on tight timelines. The Video Editor will also stay current with social media trends and best practices to continually improve video engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience creating short-form content for social platforms such as Instagram Reels and Stories.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality, maintain consistency, and support brand aesthetics.
• Ability to design and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to create dynamic, visually compelling content.
• Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Understanding of social media best practices, formats, and trends, particularly within fitness, wellness, or sports content.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality work to deadlines in a remote setting.
• Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with creators and cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience editing content for creator-focused platforms or digital brands is a plus.
