You're just as comfortable debating technical decisions with engineers as you are creating pixels and UX flows. You have a strong yet respectful presence in product and engineering discussions and speak up when something needs to be said. You're a team player who works across boundaries to get things done. Your Role: UX Designer

• Translate user stories and user journeys into high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
• Design and prototype user interfaces with a focus on high quality and scalability
• Implement design systems in Figma
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, impactful, cross-functional team
• Work directly with clients to review UX prototypes
• Conduct user interviews

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Required Skills Summary

• A willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again.
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through developer hand-off
• Ability to communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software features and technical designs.
• You are interested in modern UX practices
• You have a good understanding of software best practices
• Experience using AI tools for product discovery and prototyping is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $35-45/hour
