Role Overview

  • As a US Mortgage Processor – Disclosure Desk, you’ll be the steady hand behind accurate, timely, and compliant mortgage documentation.
  • This is not a “mindlessly click buttons all day” role. You’ll review loan files, validate borrower and financial information, prepare disclosure packages, and help keep loan documentation moving smoothly through the pipeline. Accuracy matters. Timelines matter. And your ability to spot issues before they become problems will have a real impact on the loan process.
  • You’ll work across multiple systems, manage several active files at once, and support a fast-paced mortgage team where structure, ownership, and attention to detail are key. Training will be provided on internal systems, so what matters most is your ability to follow process, communicate clearly, and stay sharp in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process mortgage loan files.
  • Verify borrower, financial, and loan information against guidelines.
  • Prepare and send disclosure packages within required timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple systems.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage multiple active files while meeting productivity expectations.
  • Meet same-day turnaround expectations when required.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Follow structured workflows, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
  • Keep loan files organized, updated, and accurate.
  • Support smooth loan processing from file review to disclosure completion.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):

  • 2+ years of experience in admin, operations, mortgage, finance, banking, lending support, QA, auditing, or other detail-heavy environments.
  • Experience working with cloud-based tools and multiple browser systems.
  • Strong written English communication skills.
  • Experience following structured processes or SOPs.
  • Reliable work-from-home setup and stable internet connection.
  • Ability to work US Eastern Time hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • Exposure to US mortgage, lending, or financial services environments.
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
  • Familiarity with CRM or workflow platforms.
  • Experience in compliance-heavy or SLA-driven environments.
  • Previous remote work experience with international clients.
