Prepare lesson plans and materials that align with the department's curriculum and goals. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants. Utilize effective teaching methods to ensure understanding and retention of material. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants to help them improve their skills. Stay updated on current industry trends and incorporate them into class content. Collaborate with other instructors and department staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program. Communicate with participants and their families regarding class schedules, updates, and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and other necessary documentation. Adhere to all department policies and procedures, including safety protocols. Represent the department in a positive and professional manner at all times. Attend required trainings and meetings to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date on department initiatives. Act as a positive role model for participants and promote the department's mission and values. Assist with promotional efforts to increase participation and awareness of the program.
