Technician, Product administration

Temporary position for 12 months Should the temporary position become permanent, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to obtain the position on a permanent basis. As a product administration technician, you provide administrative support to Desjardins components and help administer specialized products and member/client accounts. You serve as technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing. You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technical problems and help develop and improve methods and procedures. More specifically, you will be required to: Provide technical support for projects and operational issues Conduct technical studies, research and analysis. Serve as resource person for the submission of solutions and action plans Prepare technical notes to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams Help practitioners follow your unit’s processes and use its business solutions, tools and systems Review information requests and conduct research to respond in accordance with standards and policies Design, produce and analyze reports on your sector’s activities What we offer* Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment

What you bring to the table College diploma in a related field A minimum of two years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Knowledge of French is required Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Available to work from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May be required to work until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays Action oriented, Customer Focus, Decision quality, Differences, Nimble learning, Situational adaptability Trade Union (If applicable) DGOPP-MTL-SEPB 575 (00011) (2015-01-01 - ) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
