Technical Sales Consultant - Asia

Textile waste is a growing global challenge. Syre’s mission is to decarbonize and dewaste textiles, starting with the world's biggest fiber, polyester. By implementing true textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, we want to drive the transition from a linear to a circular value chain by putting textile waste to use, over and over again. We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant based in Southeast Asia to support customer engagement, technical collaboration, and commercial development across the globe. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands technology and manufacturing processes but can translate technical value into customer-facing solutions. You will work closely with external customers, internal technology teams, and regional partners to help bring Syre’s solutions from development and pilot stages into real-world applications. The role requires someone who is comfortable moving between technical discussions, customer conversations, and operational coordination — from explaining product capabilities to managing sample flows and supporting customer projects. Key tasks and responsibilities Represent Syre with customers and partners across Asia, supporting technical and commercial discussions Join customer meetings and help communicate Syre’s technology, product offering, and value proposition Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirements Support the coordination and management of samples, including logistics between pilot/blueprint facilities and customers Work closely with Syre’s technology team in the US, to support customer trials, feedback loops, and technical alignment Closely collaborate with Syre’s Partnership Lead – Spinning on regional customer and partner activities Support customer onboarding and project execution from early engagement through implementation Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and accelerate adoption of Syre’s solutions We would prefer if you... Are a technically curious, commercially minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, customers, and business. We think that you have Experience in technical sales, application engineering, business development, or a similar customer-facing technical role Strong understanding of manufacturing, materials, textiles, chemicals, polymers, or related industrial technologies Ability to understand complex technical topics and communicate them clearly to different audiences Confidence presenting to customers and leading technical-commercial discussions Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently Experience working with Asian manufacturing ecosystems and textile value chains is highly valuable. Fluency in both English (orally & writing) and Chinese (orally), is a requirement. You will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and should preferably be located in either Taiwan or China.
