Internship Start Date/Season: ASAP Internship Duration: 3 months Time/Days Required: 10 - 20 hours a week The Role: This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone who loves film and wants a real look at how distribution marketing works. You'll be embedded in our team and report directly to our marketing lead, who will provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship throughout. You'll contribute to real campaigns and creative work - this isn't busywork, but you'll always have support and direction along the way. Responsibilities: ? Assist in concepting and creating social media content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X - with guidance from our marketing lead ? Monitor trends and online film discourse, sharing findings with the team to inform content decisions ? Support the execution of distribution marketing campaigns, helping with research, asset organization, and creative drafts ? Help research target audiences, comparable titles, and competitor strategies to assist in campaign positioning ? Draft copy for social posts, promotional materials, and email campaigns for team review and approval ? Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas for how we reach film audiences online ? Assist with tracking content performance and compiling basic reporting for the team What we are looking for: ? Chronically, unapologetically online - you know what's trending before it's trending ? A genuine cinephile with curiosity about film history, genres, and the current landscape ? Some experience or coursework in social media, marketing, or content creation - personal projects and class work count ? A good eye for visuals and an instinct for how to communicate a film's tone through design and copy ? Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and comfortable asking questions ? Currently enrolled in a Film, Marketing, Communications, or related program (or recently graduated) ?
