General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) engineers a diverse portfolio of high technology solutions. They are seeking an entry-level software engineer to join a cross-functional team focused on Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions.

Responsibilities

• As a software engineer for Space, Cyber, and Intelligence (SC&I) business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for engineering Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or Master's degree
• Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
• Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
• Languages such as Rust, C, C++, Java, Python, C#
• Environments such as Linux, SELinux, Windows PowerShell
• Software, Debugging, and Test
• Embedded environments such as Embedded Linux, RTOS, VxWorks, ESXi, YOCTOL
• Networking and Protocols such as IP, Ethernet, Cryptography, or Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
• Security expertise such as NSA High Assurance, Raise the Bar
• Debugging and Scripting such as Bash, Perl, sed, awk, Python
