Position requires: Implement features in Java using OOP and SOLID principles; Apply core data structures and algorithms (sorting/searching and greedy) to optimize latency/throughput and memory use; Apply database fundamentals: relational modeling, SQL, indexing, transactions, and concurrency control - ACID principles; Understand basic networking and error handling - 5xx and 4xx error codes; Engineer highly available, fault-tolerant architectures with replication, caching, autoscaling, and disaster recovery/backup strategies aligned to SLAs and cost targets; Git, Docker, and Kubernetes experience; CAP theorem tradeoffs, and partitioning/sharding; Design microservice architecture & REST APIs - async vs sync calls, schema contracts, backward compatibility, and API versioning; and Automate builds in CI/CD.
