Senior Systems Administrator - Remote

Position Overview TriMark USA is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our innovative IT organization. This full-time remote position will play a crucial role in managing our hybrid cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will be integral to ensuring the reliability and security of our systems, supporting over 2800 internal customers. This role offers a remote working environment, allowing flexibility while ensuring you remain a key player in our nationwide IT team. Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Senior Systems Administrator will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing Level 3 support for all systems-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical problems.
  • Monitoring systems health, generating reports, and identifying trends to optimize performance and reliability across our infrastructure.
  • Managing hands-on administration of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 platforms, including user migrations and endpoint management.
  • Overseeing data center integrations to ensure a seamless transition and maintaining optimal system operations.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive IT procedural documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.
  • Actively participating in disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation to safeguard organizational continuity.
  • Collaborating with team members to design a secure and scalable infrastructure that meets the dynamic needs of our organization.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior System Administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and proficiency.
  • Engaging in independent decision-making related to technical issues during non-business hours, ensuring continuity of services.
  • Conducting technology evaluations to recommend enhancements that align with best practices and improve overall system functionality.

Patient Population / Client Focus While the primary focus of this role is internal systems administration, the effective management of our IT infrastructure directly impacts our external clients and patients by ensuring consistent and reliable service delivery. Improved system performance enables our teams to focus on exceptional service delivery in food service solutions, which ultimately benefits our clients and their customers.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. You will demonstrate a minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in systems administration or relevant practical experience, showcasing a strong grasp of IT concepts and practices. Preferred Experience Preferred background qualifications include:

  • Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud solutions and single sign-on with SaaS applications.
  • Proficiency in managing LDAP Directory Services integration and experience with Windows Server from versions 2003 to 2019.
  • Solid understanding of Office 365 security and compliance measures, as well as endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with VMware vSphere and storage area networks (SAN).
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Experience with PCI scanning and compliance to ensure rigorous security standards are met.
