Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and simulate complex analog, mixed-signal, and digital integrated circuits. Perform transistor-level design, layout, and verification for advanced ICs. Develop comprehensive design specifications and documentation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including verification engineers, process engineers, and system architects, in a remote setting. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Analyze and optimize circuit performance for power, speed, and area constraints. Oversee post-silicon validation and debug efforts. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in semiconductor technology, IC design tools, and methodologies. Contribute to the definition and improvement of IC design flows and best practices. Ensure designs meet stringent performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microelectronics or IC Design. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in integrated circuit design. Proven expertise in analog, mixed-signal, and/or digital circuit design using languages like Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog. Extensive experience with IC layout, parasitic extraction, and post-layout simulations. Proficiency with industry-standard IC design and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Design Compiler, Spectre). Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes. Experience with power management circuits, RF circuits, or high-speed digital design is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role. Ability to work independently and manage complex design tasks effectively in a remote environment.
