Senior DevOps Engineer (Edge Computing, Ukraine)

Your Project The project is focused on industrial automation and energy domain solutions, involving processing data from edge devices and integrating it with cloud infrastructure. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of containerized applications on resource-constrained edge devices. This role requires knowledge of Azure, traditional CI/CD systems, Linux, and edge computing environments. Your Role

  • Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that handle transient failures, retries, partial outages
  • Troubleshoot complex issues within Linux systems, containers, networking, on both embedded and cloud environments
  • Assist with the implementation and integration of hypervisors, containerization environments, and VMs
  • Implement best practices for signing and secrets stores as part of embedded application build pipelines
  • Set up and maintain tools for static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation as part of the build environment
  • Design and maintain deployment infrastructure for edge environments with intermittent connectivity, constrained resources, and distributed device fleets.

Your Profile

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant DevOps experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services and networking, Docker & Kubernetes in production environments
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong English language & communication skills
  • Deep understanding of Linux and container orchestration
  • Experience with Azure cloud services such as AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, or Azure IoT Edge
  • Strong automation mindset with focus on repeatability, idempotency, reliability
  • Experience developing pipelines that are resilient to latency, race conditions, intermittent failures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across stack layers
  • Experience with observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)
  • Knowledge of security best practices (RBAC, software supply chain security, secrets/credentials management)
  • Experience with OTA deployment strategies, rollback mechanisms, and fleet/device lifecycle management
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or Pulumi
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows and deployment strategies
  • Experience managing container registries, build artifacts, and software provenance
  • Experience supporting multi-architecture/container builds (x86, ARM) and cross-platform deployment pipelines
  • Experience optimizing containerized workloads for constrained compute, memory, and storage environments
