Project Description: Our company is seeking a Sen-Level Operations Engineer with a broad skill set to support our busy Operations (Ops) team. This generalist role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can wear multiple hats across infrastructure, cloud, security, and IT support to keep systems running smoothly. The primary goal of this position is taking on day-to-day operational responsibilities and driving improvements in automation and process. We require a candidate with experience in AWS cloud administration and Python scripting, who is comfortable tackling a variety of technical tasks without needing deep specialization in any single area. Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Cloud Management Endpoint Management Security & Compliance Support Developer Enablement Identity & Access Management Support & IT Operations Automation & Documentation Project Support Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an IT Operations, DevOps, Systems Administrator, or similar role, preferably in a broad technical environment Cloud Proficiency: Solid experience managing AWS environments (e.g. setting up and maintaining EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.), including basic networking within AWS and an understanding of cost optimization in the cloud Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting or programming, especially with Python Ability to write scripts or small tools to automate tasks and integrate with APIs or cloud services Experience with other scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell is a plus Systems & Networking Knowledge: Strong foundation in system administration for Linux servers (and familiarity with Windows and/or macOS) Understanding of networking fundamentals — you should know concepts like VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, subnets, firewalls, and be able to assist in network configuration or troubleshooting Security Mindset: Familiarity with security best practices such as routine patch management, least-privilege access controls, and monitoring for suspicious activity Experience responding to incidents or working with security tools/alerts in prior roles is required Tooling & Monitoring: Experience with infrastructure monitoring and incident response processes Comfort using or learning tools for logging, alerting, and performance monitoring Problem-Solving Skills Communication & Collaboration What`s in it for you?
