Google & Meta Ads Strategist

Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, performance-driven Google & Meta Ads Strategist to manage and optimize paid campaigns across multiple client accounts. This role requires someone who can manage lots of moving pieces simultaneously and is focused on making practical decisions based on data-driven results. You will play a critical role in developing, executing, and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with a primary focus on driving lead generation for service-based businesses while collaborating with internal teams and clients to meet and exceed performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and manage campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimizations (bidding, targeting, creative, placements, etc.)
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization
  • Develop and test new strategies including audience targeting, keyword structures, and creative variations
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking (form fills, phone calls, booked appointments) using Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve lead quality and cost per lead
  • Create and deliver clear, concise client reports within AgencyAnalytics
  • Collaborate with internal teams on landing pages, creative direction, and campaign strategy
  • Identify opportunities for growth, scaling, and expansion into additional channels

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years experience managing campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
  • Strong understanding of lead generation strategies for service-based businesses
  • Familiarity with proper campaign structure, testing methodologies, and platform best practices
  • Experience with conversion tracking (calls, forms, and key lead actions)
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience with SEO (on-page, keyword research, technical basics)
  • Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with Canva or similar tools for light creative design
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Looker Studio, AgencyAnalytics, or similar
  • Comfortable with light client communication for ad strategy and performance discussions
